The main function of the Vogler circular level gauge is to monitor the position or height of materials in the paver silo in real time, in order to achieve precise control and management of materials.
Its specific functions include but are not limited to the following aspects:
1. Real time monitoring of material location: Through high-precision sensors and data processing systems, the location and quantity information of materials in the silo are accurately obtained, allowing operators to understand the storage status of materials in real time.
2. Ensure material transportation and processing: Feedback data to the control system of the paver to ensure that the feeding efficiency of the agitator shaft matches the on-site paving efficiency. For example, when the material level is lower than the set height, the feeding speed of the agitator can be automatically adjusted to ensure the continuous progress of the paving operation.
Improve production efficiency and economic benefits: Help real-time understand the inventory situation of raw materials, timely supplement and adjust material supply, thereby improving production efficiency, reducing the risk of production interruption, and lowering inventory costs.
3. Timely detection and handling of abnormal situations: able to sense whether there are leaks, blockages, and other abnormal situations in materials, and issue alarms in order to take timely measures to deal with them, avoiding production interruptions or other failures caused by material problems.
In the Vogler paver, the commonly used ultrasonic level gauge calculates the level height by emitting sonar to the material and measuring the time it takes for the sound waves to reflect back. This non-contact measurement method has no wear and high accuracy.
